Usage Policy

1. About This Policy

This policy explains what is not allowed on Hamia's products, including Hamia Business Model, Hamia Studio, Hamia Manager, Hamia Education Model, Hamia Apps Model, Hamia API, and Hamia Pay. It applies to everyone who uses them and to content created with them, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Illegal and Harmful Activity

Do not use Hamia to:

• Break the law, or promote, plan, or help with illegal activity
• Create, share, or seek any content that sexualizes or exploits children
• Threaten, harass, bully, or stalk anyone, or promote violence or self-harm
• Promote hatred or discrimination against people based on who they are
• Support terrorism or violent extremism
• Sell or promote illegal goods, weapons, or drugs

3. Fraud, Deception, and Spam

Do not use Hamia to:

• Scam, defraud, or phish anyone, or run fake businesses, reviews, or offers
• Impersonate a person, business, or Hamia, or hide that a reply comes from an AI assistant when asked
• Send spam or messages to people who have not chosen to hear from you
• Mislead customers about prices, payments, or what you sell

4. AI-Generated Content and Real People

• Do not create a voice, image, or video that copies or depicts a real person without their consent. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian must consent.
• Do not use AI content to mislead people into thinking a real person said or did something they did not.
• Do not create sexual content of a real person, or any sexual content involving a minor.
• Do not use Hamia to give medical, legal, or financial advice as if it came from a licensed professional.

5. Privacy and Data

• Collect and use your customers' or students' information only lawfully and as you told them
• Do not collect sensitive information such as passwords or full card numbers through a Hamia assistant
• Do not track, profile, or identify people without a lawful basis

6. Teaching on Hamia Education Model

• Keep every interaction with students, especially minors, professional and appropriate
• Do not ask students to move to private channels or share personal contact details
• Only teach material you have the right to use
• Report any concern about a student's safety to us right away

7. Protecting the Platform

Do not:

• Access accounts or systems without permission, or test our security without our written agreement
• Get around usage limits, trials, or payments, or create accounts to avoid them
• Scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Services, except where the law allows it
• Upload malware or overload or disrupt the Services

If you find a security issue, please report it to hello@hamia.io instead of testing it further.

8. Connected Platforms

When you connect a messaging or social platform to Hamia, you must also follow that platform's own rules.

9. Enforcement

If you break this policy, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account, depending on how serious it is. Where appropriate, we will warn you first. We report child exploitation and other serious crimes to the authorities.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will tell you by email or with a notice on hamia.io before they take effect.
